This course will review the principals of activity dependent plasticity and provide an overview of how exercise can strengthen synaptic connection. This course will also discuss the benefits of aerobic exercise, having a positive effect on plaques that are known to be associated with the development of dementia. Aerobic exercise protocols are also discussed.
