Course Overview
This course is designed to help learners understand the characteristics of the various types of dementia including vascular dementia, Lewy body dementia, frontotemporal dementia and normal pressure hydrocephalus dementia. This course will also help learners identify common diagnostic tools used for evaluating dementia.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of the educational activity participant will be able to:
- Recognize the features of non-Alzheimer and Alzheimer dementia
- Utilize diagnostic testing to evaluate non-Alzheimer dementia
