Course Overview:
This course discusses the current understanding of neurodegenerative disorders, explores the unique clinical and neuropsychological characteristics of Alzheimer disease and addresses whether there is an identifiable prodromal stage in each condition. This course will also identify the effective factors in managing mild cognitive impairment.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of the educational activity participant will be able to:
- Assess pre-symptomatic, prodromal and syndromic Alzheimer disease
- Review the characteristics of subjective cognitive decline
- Examine the anatomical processes of prodromal Alzheimer disease
