Event Registration: Vascular Dementia
This course provides a brief overview of the history of Alzheimer disease and late developments in the disease. Specific comparison of vascular dementia verses other types of dementia are reviewed. Epidemiology and an understanding of how certain lifestyle factors may preempt vascular dementia will be discussed. Pathophysiology, diagnostic challenges and limitations associated with a vascular dementia diagnosis will be shared.
